Both have worked at all levels of industry from tradesman through to management and are both hands-on, enthusiastic and highly experienced solution providers.

Frank, Mick and the Golstone team rate community and industry involvement highly in their business objectives. They support such organisations as CQ Rescue helicopter service in Mackay, Queensland and Maitland Junior Rugby Union in Maitland New South Wales.
VOLUNTEER WORK
Mick is heavily involved in the Maitland Junior Rugby Union Club and offers his time to volunteer his help for team events during both home and away games.
Frank enjoys his voluntary involvement with RAAG and fund-raising events for CQ Rescue and other not for profit organisations on a regular basis.
The Beginnings of Clixmate™
Frank, one of the owners, stumbled upon this product in 2017 after being pestered by his wife to attend a set of markets in SE Queensland whilst on holiday there.
Not being one to enjoy shopping or markets (especially ones you have to drive an hour to get to) Frank reluctantly agreed to take his wife to the markets -on the firm agreement that afterwards they could have lunch at the local RSL.
Once there, Frank offered all the obligatory signs of interest at various stalls whilst all the time trying to hurry the whole market visit along. That was until he came across a stall where an inventor was demonstrating the (now named) Clixmate™ system. His demonstration involved hanging Christmas lights on guttering.
The stall holder had just invented this product and so he and Frank got into discussing different applications it could be used for. With Frank’s extensive mining experience, he could see a use for this immediately in both mining and other industries.
By this time, Frank’s wife had reversed the role play and had to drag him away from the markets! Frank and the inventor agreed to keep in touch.
Sadly the inventor was unable to see his invention to market, so Frank and Mick formed Golstone Pty Ltd in 2018 and acquired the patented product and are now sole manufacturers and suppliers of the Clixmate™ system.
Frank Casey
Heralding from Mackay, Queensland, Frank spent the majority of his working life in and around Central Queensland and three years in the NSW Hunter and Narrabri region coal fields.
Frank completed his electrical apprenticeship more years ago than he cares to remember and since then has worked in heavy industry, construction, open cut and underground coal mining industries.
Having gained his Electrical Engineering Manager’s Certificate, Frank was first appointed as a mine Electrical Engineer in Charge in 1997 and has held several mine managerial roles ever since.
In 2005, Frank launched a Consulting business offering project management, statutory in-charge relief and managerial roles for the mining industry.
He then teamed up with Michael Procopis and together they formed Underground Coal Mining Solutions Pty Ltd and continued similar consulting work throughout Queensland and NSW.
Frank has managed major capital and operational projects for underground mining companies including:
- 5 and 10 year electrical infrastructure requirement studies at two major mines
- Mine main ventilation upgrades
- Vent shaft surface installation for enhanced underground ventilation
- Mine national gas emission scheme requirements for mine site ventilation systems
- Underground main dewatering system design and installation
- Underground borehole pumping optimization
Suffice it to say that Frank has extensive experience and fully understands the requirements of safety, risk reduction and improving efficiencies across all industries.

Mick and Frank are committed to the Clixmate™ system and are constantly looking for new uses for the product and complimenting and expanding accessories for the product.
